You can store palm vein information for up to 50 people. Palm vein recognition can only be used for unlocking, not locking.

Is this smart lock compatible with the eufy ecosystem, Apple Home, SmartThings, Google Home, or Amazon Alexa?

Yes, this smart lock is compatible with Matter over Thread (MoT). You can use your iOS or Android devices to lock and unlock the door (HomeKey is not supported). Additionally, you can set up home automation.

Does this smart lock require a hub to connect to Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, or Samsung SmartThings?

A hub that supports Matter is required for this device to connect to third-party ecosystems (Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings).

How is this smart lock powered? What happens if the battery runs out?

Our door lock uses a dual power supply with main and backup lithium batteries. When the main battery is low, the backup battery provides emergency power, maintaining palm and PIN code access to unlock.

What kind of doors is eufy FamiLock compatible with?

It's compatible with most standard doors (35-55 mm thick). We do not recommend installing on doors with a storm door in front, as it might block the view. If your latch recess is round, contact eufy Support to get a round drive-in faceplate.
